Clematis

This model was inspired by the swirling seed heads of Clematis flowers. When I first saw the seed pods, the first  thought that came to mind was, "The flower is dancing." This model took longer than expected to finish. The first model was a chaotic tangle of lines. I went back to look at photo references to capture the original lightness and motion of the flower seeds. The model was tweaked further to make sure none of the tails intersect each other.
